Hands shape and assemble a clay bowl using handbuilding techniques on a worktable with ceramic tools.

Handbuilding: Level 1

Ever wanted to try your hand at sculpting with clay? This beginner-friendly handbuilding class is the perfect place to start! Over the course of 5-weeks, students will have the opportunity to learn about the entire ceramic process – from shaping the clay using handbuilding techniques, to glazing and kiln firing. This class is ideal for beginners, but can be taken multiple times as each session offers new projects and inspiration.
