Hello! My name is Mahalya Paz Kim. I was born in San Francisco and raised in Oakland, CA. I go to UC Davis where I am currently majoring in Studio Art with the hopes of double majoring in something having to do with education. I am passionate about social justice and the arts as a queer, neurodivergent, Filipino Korean American who believes art saves lives. #ArtisPolitical
I am so very excited to join the DAC team, where I know all levels/types of experience, knowledge and personhood are welcome and valued. I hope I can be that welcoming face for all those walking into the center.

Some of my favorite activities would be singing, drawing, cuddling my cats, and watching movies/shows I’ve already seen dozens of times (for ex: Bottoms, Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, The Little Mermaid, Avatar the Last Airbender, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Abbott Elementary, etc.)
