In this workshop, participants will learn both leatherworking and book-binding techniques to create a handmade leather journal! Use the techniques you learn to create endless notebooks to insert into the leather cover. This journal is perfect for traveling, drawing, storytelling, and more!
Open to beginners and first-time students; all materials are provided. See below for class schedule:
- Class 1 – Nov 30: Design your journal cover using stamping and dyeing techniques.
- Class 2 – Dec 7: Stitch and finish your journal cover.
- Class 3 – Dec 14: Learn a book binding technique to make endless notebook inserts for your journal cover.
